CHANCE FOR LIFE & WILLIE STRONG LAUNCH LUNCHEON
On September 12th, Willie Strong and Chance for Life guests gathered to learn about the new collaboration and how to join the fight for pediatric cancer research. Watch Angie Goff’s recap (above video) on Fox5 and listen to Claire Hughes’s entire speech to learn more about why it is important to support and how it can help children in treatment.
Chance for Life’s entire mission is to bridge the gap in funding for pediatric cancer research, as only 4% of federal dollars are allocated to pediatric cancer research. Chance for Life raises funds exclusively for pediatric cancer research that directly benefits Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and Children’s National Health System. They’re unique in that their funds ONLY support research and Chance for Life is able to donate 100% of their net fundraising dollars outside of event costs directly to funding pediatric cancer research. You can learn more about their mission at their newly launched website – www.chanceforlife.net.
