Crack Cancer is a challenge that supports the fundraising efforts of the Willie Strong Foundation in collaboration with Children’s National Health System for Brain Cancer Awareness . The Crack Cancer Campaign challenges participants of all ages to raise money and awareness for pediatric brain cancer.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
• Receive a challenge from another person or start your own
• Get crackin’ and film your Crack Cancer video
• Share your video on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #crackcancer
• Challenge another person to do the same (either in your video or your post)
• Go to crackcancer.com to donate or Venmo @crackcancer

What is Pediatric GlioBlastoma?
Glioblastoma is a fast- growing type of central nervous system tumor that forms from glial (supportive) tissue of the brain and spinal cord and has cells that look very different from normal cells. Also called GBM, glioblastoma multiforme, and grade IV astrocytoma.

The Willie Strong Foundation aims to raise $2 million dollars to establish the William Seamus Hughes Professorship in Neuro-oncology and Immunology at Children’s National. This endowed professorship will guarantee that Will’s fighting spirit lives on in the pursuit of treatments for pediatric glioblastoma and other aggressive pediatric brain tumors and ensure that every child has the very best chance for a cure.
